[Didn't work as expected! =(] Updates (12/20/2016) Replacement works great!
Updates (12/20/2016): I was contacted by the seller and they sent me a replacement to test again! The replacement arrived within 2 days after I responded! I guess I got a lemon the first time! The replacement works great! Everything is working as it should be. The DVD player is so light that I was walking around the house watching the movie! Seller is really helpful and polite in helping me solving the issue with the first player! So if you have any issues with your player, contact them! Will buy from them again! Ordered it for my mom as Xmas present. The very first time she uses it, the screen show pixels of the DVD! =( The DVD player itself is very light for sure. I guess I was out of luck with this one! Install Flash Player After many years, and road trips and miles our old van’s transmission went and it was time to get a new one. I love the new van; there is more room, more comfortable seating, and lots of newer features. There was just one very important feature missing, our old van had a DVD player in it. If you have ever taken a long drive with three kids you will understand how much we loved and used that DVD player. It saved our patience countless numbers of times. With summer here and many trips already planned we had to do something. This DVD player is literally saving our sanity; it is portable and has an extended battery that lasts three hours, which is longer than our travel, so it lasts the whole trip. Its 10.5” screen is actually larger than our last one so the kids can all see it better. The absolute coolness doesn’t stop there; it plays a multitude of video formats both file and disc. It has a built in USB port and an SD card reader so you don’t have to burn discs just pop them on a card or stick. It is a bit thick but it is extremely light weight. You can charge it either in the car, or in the house as it includes adapters for both, and you can use it either plugged in or wireless. It has shock resistance which keeps it steady even on uneven road. A remote control is included, as is a game controller for the little game disc that comes with it. Lastly it includes an AV cable if you would like to use it as a DVD player for a bigger screen. Between the rotation and all the features this is a great little DVD player for the road, especially for the price. My kids and husband could not be happier, and we can finally enjoy the new van without missing the DVD player.

Install Flash Player It is light weight and very easy to use and operate. The buttons are clear and the screen is larger than I originally thought it would be. The picture on it is AMAZING. It comes with a charger that can be plugged into the wall and another charger that can be plugged into a car charger. The car charger will come in handy on road trips as the fully charged battery only last for 3 hours. It is so light weight because the outside is made from plastic instead of metal, but I do not think that takes away from the sturdiness of the product and makes it easier for a child to hold this on their laps in a car seat. The sound is very good without headphones and I love that it has the feature to be able to play items off of a USB drive. The blue color really pops and the screen easily swivels for a multitude of ways for viewing. It does have some background noise from it that you can hear in the background of my video. This was the only downfall I encountered, but it is a dim noise so it does not, in my opinion, take away from the convenience and affordability of having a portable DVD player. The DVD player slot is very easy to open and close and the buttons are easy to push. It even comes with a remote control and controller as well as cords that can hook this up to a TV, so the functionality is great to have as well. This is my first video review so I apologize in advance because I was unable to figure out how to turn the video around.

I searched for some time for a dvd player to keep in my vehicle for all of the kids that would work good and last me a long time, but without costing a fortune. I found all of the above with this purchase. The screen quality is great, it swivels around to be viewed at almost any angle and there is multiple button features to choose from. It comes with a remote, game player, game cd with cords, wall and car charger and instruction manual. I haven't noticed any faults, no vibrations or skips while going down the road. The sound is good and it picks back up if you have to pause when you stop. I love that! You do need to purchase a car rest holder separate. I would definitely purchase this product again!

I was worried at first when I opened it because it seemed lightweight. However, after putting it on our bar in the car, I was grateful for the lightweight aspect. I love the option of the swivel screen, because some people have the head rest support. This will work for them. The DVDs play easily and the picture is clear! My children absolutely love this player. It is much bigger than the previous one we had. The sound is clear too. Unfortunately our van's engine is very loud so we plugged it into the AUX and the headphone jack. We were able to adjust the sound for everyone to hear and enjoy. The game disc and controller that come with it are great. There are a lot of old school games that are on the disk that brings back a lot of memories. The controller is not as touchy as the old gaming systerms' but it will most likely loosen up the more it is played with. This DVD player is perfect for our family. We go on a lot of long road trips and go camping a lot. This makes our rides much more enjoyable. The only negative I have to say is the power cords are not long enough to reach the power outlets in our car. We will be purchasing a long 12 Volt charger for it so it will last for our longer than three hour trips. I highly recommend this product.

Toddler Friendly and Durable!
So we frequently go on long car rides with my 18-month-old daughter. We've been looking for something to be able to keep her occupied because she likes to scream in her car seat. We can't give her any kind of tablet because she pushes the buttons. So this portable DVD player we decided to give it a try. This DVD player has been perfect for my daughter because it is just the right size. This DVD player is not heavy. And it has multiple positions. The DVD player has the ability to turn the screen and fold over so she can't push any buttons to turn her movies off. Which is the most important feature of this DVD player for us. It arrived very quickly and packaged very well. It also comes with a little remote and cords for connections. It also is a rechargeable. Let me tell you that I am so happy to have a DVD player that I don't have to replace batteries. I absolutely love this DVD player and we will definitely Keep using it on every single car ride.

DBPOWER 10.5" DVD player
I'm bewildered by the negative reviews regarding the DBPOWER DVD player. I received mine last week and have had a chance to experiment with it. I love it. I've had many players, Sylvania being the worst by far. This DBPOWER has large buttons, easy to use and many features including the USB port. Customers are complaining about the unit being plastic. Every player I've had has been plastic which makes it light weight , an advantage as I see it. I do my research, as I'm retired and need the most bang for the buck. I like full screen viewing, so I set my player at 16.9 which still has black bars at top and bottom. Then I take remote, hit zoom one time, voila, I have full screen. One reviewer said it was DOA. Follow the directions, they say charge it FIRST for 12 hours, which I did. I have a 10.5" screen, good sound, beautiful picture, usb port, and a sd card slot for viewing my camera pictures. The game port I could care less about, this is a DVD player. You want games, buy an xbox. Mine is a beautiful blue, with a fingerprint resistant textured finish. I had one question about this player, so I emailed DBPOWER and they promptly responded. Great service, if you have a problem.

Surpassed my expectations!
This DBPOWER portable DVD player definitely surpassed my expectations! I have owned several to include: Sony, Emerson, and a few off brands! This is by far the best one yet! This DVD player was definitely bigger than I expected. It's approximately 11X8 inches. The DVD screen itself is 10.5 inches! It is lightweight, compact, and made out of quality plastic materials. This is great for travelling! The DVD player is user friendly and super easy to navigate. Others I have had in the past have had a limited number of buttons making it difficult to navigate. This one is pretty self explanatory. My husband recently had to travel out of state on a bus. He said this DVD player was great! One thing he liked is that it was shock resistant while the bus was moving. He said it didn't skip once. In addition, if you turn the DVD player off and then turn it back on, it remembers where the movie left off! The screen quality is good and clear. You can easily adjust the brightness level for your comfort. The screen also swivels from side to side or can be folded flat. The battery life was excellent(approximately 3 hours)! The DVD player has a rechargeable battery and can be charged by a car charger or power adapter that is included . Once the battery is fully charged it has a green light that blinks. This DVD player has a USB and SD card reader so that you can watch movies from your SD card! Pretty neat! Further more, you can watch/play mp3, or listen to CD's. This DVD player comes with: 1 AV cable, 1 remote, 1 power adapter , 1 car charger, 1 game controller, a small disc with games, a user manual, and a one year warranty. Definitely worth the money. What a great multi use player
What a great multi use player. Not only is this a dvd player but also a video game player. It comes with a disk that has tons of games, though older style. It also comes with the gaming remote. Be sure to plug it in the back and not the side USB like I did because it won't work lol. The picture is nice and clear with a big screen. The swivel screen allows to move it in different directions for others to see or to place on your lap while traveling perhaps. The dvd player also comes with a removet for use. This is good if you are traveling and need to pause it or move through something but don't need to get out of your seat. There is good sound quality. I was really impressed with this player and my kids have been enjoying using it everyday.

All features work except MP4 but it's still a great player!
For those who want to know about playing USB Drives and external hard drives on this player, I've tested it out. It will read my class 3 and 2 USB Thumb Drives that are up to 128 Gig, 'but' it won't read everything on them and it varies each time I put it into the player. So it is true that you need to use a USB that is 16 gig or under and it is the same with memory cards. I will add that I have a fist full of USB Drives, PNY Brand, Kingston and others and there was no difference with brands and it was the same with my memory cards. I also hooked up my external Seagate Hard Drive and the player would not read it at all, so no it won't read an external hard drive for those who were wondering. Nothing reads in MP4 Format, regardless of what the product description says. So if you have a lot of media in MP4, you may want to purchase a converter program to change it. It also has no problem reading a CDR as long as there's no MP4's on it. The volume is average for this type of a small item so for the most part I like to hook in external speakers. This player really is great though, it comes with fun retro video game knock offs that I've spent hours playing already and it works for what I want it to do. I would give it a 4.5 rating if I could because it's kind of cheap feeling and bulky and it won't read my larger USB Drives or play MP4 Formats. I purchased this player to replace my Orei and that one was an exceptional player that did indeed play all of my large thumb drives. Sadly they don't make it anymore though, so this blue DB Power Machine is my new all around the house buddy. By the way, I've contacted customer service a few times with questions and their great! I have a good feeling that if something bad happened with the player that they'd fix it.
